Nicholas Orifici

VIOLIN, VIOLA, GUITAR, MANDOLIN

Nicholas Orifici has been with East End Arts for over 10 years. He was a student of Juilliard, as well as Mannes and has been teaching since 2004. Nicholas enjoys and is proficient in working with all ages and skill levels. He has performed professionally with symphonic orchestras; such as The Lancaster Symphony, New York Pops, and Doctors Orchestra. Nicholas has also recorded strings for various professional projects including Little Maestros, The Dig, and other musical projects. You can catch him playing with other teachers at EEA during his down time. Nick cares greatly for his students and has proven success in increasing his students' skill level. The positive affect of this has led to a boost in his students' self-esteem and increased level of comfort in both playing and performing. He works with all ages, including some of our youngest students; such as our March student spotlight, Adaria. Nick’s students make significant progress in their studies and enjoy playing solo and sometimes alongside Nick in our end of semester recitals, as he did this past Winter over zoom during student recitals. He prerecorded a duet with one of his students and it was just breathtaking! Click HERE to view his duet.

A guardian of one of Nick’s students commented, “Nick has been so supportive…giving attention that has boosted her confidence. Her orchestra teacher said she has improved a great deal. Thank you for making this happen.”
