East End Arts invites professional artists, artisans, and food/beverage vendors to participate in their popular Street Painting Festival. Artisans and food/beverage vendors are invited to submit photos of their work for consideration for the outdoor festival.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Fees: Are NON-REFUNDABLE for the 1-day event on May 29, 2022 from 12 p.m - 5 p.m. The rain date is Monday, May 30, 2022 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. There will be no refunds for cancellations due to inclement weather or acts of God. If you wish to register, please complete the form below. Only click the submit button once. You should receive a confirmation e-mail shortly after your submission. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us at 631.727.0900 or mparsons@eastendarts.org to confirm the submission of your application. Each applicant will be contacted a few weeks prior to the festival with your spot location.

Items being sold: Must be described in the application submitted. At the discretion of East End Arts, vendors found selling other items than listed on the application will be told to close down - with NO REFUND provided. All vendors must provide a VALID NYS sales tax ID/Resale Certificate with this application. Food/beverage vendors are responsible for obtaining a temporary Suffolk County Department of Health permit if you do not have an annual permit. 

Insurance: Each vendor is required to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming East End Arts & Humanities Council, Inc. with the address of 133 East Main Street, Riverhead, NY 11901 as an additionally insured with minimum insurance limits of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $2,000,000.00 aggregate OR sign an indemnification agreement indemnifying EEA.  It is highly recommended that vendors obtain insurance to cover themselves from liability. If you need temporary insurance for this event, you can purchase a temporary Show Policy here.

Food/Beverage Vendors: are required to obtain a temporary Suffolk County Department of Health (SC DOH) permit if you do not hold an annual permit. All vendors will be responsible for emailing either an annual permit or an application for a temporary permit stamped received from SC DOH.

Set-up & Break-down: This event will take place along East Main Street and on the grounds of East End Arts. Display set-up, begins at 9:00 AM, and removing vendor set-ups (no earlier than 5:00 PM), is the responsibility of the artisans. Pop-up tents, weights, tables, and chairs will not be provided. Tents are required to have weights on the legs.

Indemnification Agreement
Applicant agrees to indemnify and hold East End Arts, hereinafter “licensors” and their respective officers, employees, agents, representatives and officials harmless from any and all loss, claim, actions, costs, or liability associated with its use of the property and related activities described herein, including liability for damages to property or for injuries or death to persons which may arise from, or be attributable or incident to the use by applicant and its employees, agents, representatives, and concessionaires of the property, excepting liability solely caused by the gross negligence of East End Arts or other above named Licensors or property owners or its employees, agents, or representatives. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Applicant agrees to indemnify and hold East End Arts and other Licensors harmless from any lien claimed or asserted for labor, materials, or services furnished to applicant in connection with the use of the property. With respect to any suit or claim by East End Arts or other Licensors, whether under this indemnification provision or otherwise, Applicant, for itself, its agents, employees, and representatives, hereby expressly waives any defense which might preclude or limit either enforcement of this indemnification clause or any reasonable attorneys fees incurred by East End Arts or other Licensors securing compliance with the provision of this indemnification agreement.

I understand and agree that I alone am responsible for my property and person at all times at “East End Arts Community Mosaic Festival” organized by East End Arts. I understand and agree that East End Arts retains the right to prohibit any sale by any vendor at its absolute discretion.
