Gene Lamendola

WOODWIND, BRASS, PIANO
Gene studied piano with Randy Reeve at the age of three and Rita Keller at the age of fifteen. In seventh grade he started playing clarinet and won a seat with The Suffolk County Music Education Association Band. AT the age of 18 he won The International Art of Jazz Scholarship on piano. He has performed with The Marion McCartlen Trio, members of The Johnny Carson Band and many others. Gene was a teacher at The North Babylon School for 30 years until he retired in 2008. He has been teaching at East End Art School since September, teaching woodwind, brass and piano.
