EEA Talks Featuring
Nicholas Bavaro & John Tocco
Nick and John, both accomplished musicians, joined East End Arts as teachers, in the summer of 2020, together they ran the music portion of our summer camps and Rock That Band Camps. They also taught private music lessons, both virtual and in person at the school. EEA Rocks, a program started to encourage more students from the East End to expand their musical education and enhance their performance experience was directed by both Nick and John. Their passion is evident, in the way they speak about their students, and by the results, an amazing concert in the height of the pandemic that was live streamed for all to see. John stated, "EEA rocks has been a lot of fun, working with such talented kids is both rewarding and humbling. As happy as I am to pass my knowledge on to these students, I'm even happier to be able to learn from them myself." Nick felt equally positive and commented, “Working with these students has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve had the pleasure of being part of. The amount of growth that they’ve shown in the short time we’ve been together is nothing short of incredible, and I can’t wait for them to showcase their talents to the East End of Long Island.” We are lucky to have such dedicated teachers and musicians working at East End Arts. If you are interested in signing up for EEA Rocks, the new semester starts on April 23, 2021, Fridays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
